Several Teslas with different Lidar racks were spotted in the past weeks in Mountain View, on Highway 280, and San Francisco. Now I also got a video from the single Lidar rack that Dennis had sent me a few days ago.
The vehicles were three Model 3s and one Model X, which lidar setups presumably used to perform so-called ground truth tests – calibrations – of new sensor types (possibly cameras).
