Coco Robotics partnered with Illumination and Universal Pictures, transforming one hundred of their food delivery robots into Minions, from the yellow skin to the 3D printed goggles. Not sure, if they also gave them the attitude, but this seems like a lot of fun – and a way to make people not just accept but love delivery robots.
The Coco delivery robots dressed were roaming the streets in cities such as LA and Chicago at the start of the new Minion movie Minions and Monsters on July 1st, 2026.
BTW: this is not just a marketing campaign, it’s also a blueprint of how to engage with the community to embrace such new technologies.
Honestly, what’s not to love about that? Here the trailer to the movie.
