Tesla Produces 80,000 Cars in Q3/2018

The third quarter of 2018 is over, and techblog Electrek reports a record quarter for Tesla. According to Electrek-sources Tesla produced 80,000 vehicles, including 53,000 Model. That’s an increase of 85 percent comparing to the past quarter, which saw 28,578 Model 3.
The last two days in September saw 1,000 cars each day, a record for Tesla. Official numbers will follow later today.
As somebody living just 10 minutes from the Tesla-factory, I can only confirm the Model 3 density. Similar to the past, where you could see Golf and Beetles at every street corner, now the Model 3 has taken over that role in the San Francisco / Bay Area .
