According to Reuters the German transport ministry intends to increase the federal subsidy for electric vehicles and extend them until mid-2020. The subsidies for electric vehicles up to 30,000 Euro shall be doubled from 2,000 Euro to 4,000 Euro, and for vehicles up to 60,000 Euro from 2,000 Euro to 2,500 Euro. Additional subsidies are coming from the states, which amount to 2.000 Euro.
The ministry declined to comment.
