Tesla Breaks $100 Billion Market Cap After Hours

The price rally of the last few days at Tesla has continued after-market with a final price of $547.20 after a gain of 7.19%. At 19:51 EST (1:51 CET), the price of Tesla shares was $555, 1.43% higher than when the stock market closed. With that Tesla broke for the first time through the $100 billion market valuation.

For comparison: Volkswagen, the most valuable German automobile company, was valued at 100.67 billion dollars (90.718 billion euros) at the end of the day. Volkswagen with almost 11 million cars produced in 2019 is now less than 1% more valuable than Tesla with 367,500 cars manufactured in 2019.
