Lucid Motors Beta-Prototypes

At its new headquarters in Newark, right next to Fremont in California, the start-up Lucid Motors has a large workshop where 80 of the beta prototypes of the Lucid Air are currently being manufactured by hand. And now Lucid gave an insight into the fleet.

Lucid Air should have been presented in New York in April, but this had to be postponed due to the Corona crisis. Now Lucid has posted a video with a view of 40 of the prototypes. The vehicles were supposed to be in continuous operation and being tested, now they are waiting patiently until the curfews are lifted.

In the meantime, however, we can take a first look at the vehicles that can already be ordered and whose price starts at 100,000 dollars in this small video.

Full car production was supposed to start later this year in the new factory in Arizona, where the ground was broken earlier this year.
