A few days before the official unveiling date, the autonomous zoo vehicle, long kept under lock and key, was spotted during a film shoot in San Francisco. The photo was posted by reddit user PM_ME_UR_LIDAR.
The vehicle seems to be able to drive in both directions, appears lower in height than for example a Navya bus and uses a concept similar to Canoo or Cruise Origin. It is noticeable that the LiDAR pucks prominently stand out on all four sides. The vehicle is also obviously equipped with a battery electric drive.
