Electric car sales for Volkswagen more than tripled in 2020 compared to the previous year. This was announced by Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess in a post.
The ID.3 topped the list with 56,500 vehicles, and this after a bumpy start just a few months before the end of the year due to software problems that had delayed deliveries by almost a year. The Audi e-tron came in at 47,300, units and the Porsche Taycan at 20,000.
In 2021, 10 more models from 5 brands will then be added.
