Apple’s latest sensor setups on it’s autonomous vehicle fleet are now including sensors on the side of the vehicle, not just on the top rack anymore. The new sensors seem to be radars.
This vehicle was spotted on July 14th, 2021 around 1:30pm on N Wolfe Rd and Kiffer Rd in Sunnyvale.

It also seems that the top sensor box is changed. In our video from October 2019 we can still see sensor windows at the corner of the box, they are gone now.
