Cruise Extends Driverless Rides in San Francisco To Day Time

After the expansion of the area in which the driverless Cruise robot cab is allowed to travel in San Francisco, the next bang comes. As of today, Cruise no longer operates only between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., but also during the day.

The first ride was taken by two Cruise employees, who made their first trip to western parts of the city at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday

Unlike the area served at night, the rather quieter western part of San Francisco is covered for the day. And, the daytime service is currently limited to Cruise employees. But according to Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt, the daytime service will be made available to the public “soon.”
