Slovenia Becomes the 6th European Country to Approve Tesla’s FSD

Following the Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, Denmark, and Belgium, Slovenia has now also approved Tesla’s FSD. All of these approvals were based on the testing and authorization conducted by Dutch authorities, as reported by Autonext. However, Tesla aims to obtain FSD approval in all 27 EU countries. An initial cross-border vote on this matter could take place as early as October 6, 2026, to extend approval to all countries.

The six approvals cover 42 million of the EU’s total 450 million residents, or just under 9% of the EU population. Several other European countries are also testing Tesla’s FSD. France is currently testing two FSD vehicles on public roads before making its decision.
